The Minnesota Vikings lost to the New York Giants. The Vikings were good, not great, but their defense was exposed again. Head coach Kevin O'Connell needs to evaluate every aspect of the team. Ed Donatell's defensive coordinator will have to pay the price. He allowed the Giants to score on five of their first six possessions. They couldn't get off the field on third down. It's not worth it. If they won, they would have traveled to San Francisco to play the 49ers. Even with Brock Purdy at the controls, the Vikings might have put up 40 points. There would be no Minneapolis Miracle on this Sunday evening.
