Tiger Roll Gives Gorden Elliott Second Grand National Success

Gordon Elliott has won his second Randox Health Grand National. He won the first one in 2007 with Silver Birch. In the last five weeks he has taken the top trainer award at the Cheltenham Festival for the second successive year and won first Irish Grand Nats with General Principle. Elliott is long odds-on to dethrone Willie Mullins and claim his first trainer's title later this month. The owner of the horse Tiger Roll, Michael O'Leary, wants to keep him at Gigginstown House Stud. The trainer didn't think the 15-2 chance could handle the fences.
