Last year he was in the form of his life but a nosebleed forced him to be withdrawn. Politologue has a year older now and is in good form after a spin round Wincanton last week.

16:50 - I'll Ridoto. Harry Cobden and Bryony Frost will run him with Harry. They will go with Il Ridotto and Thyme White. Il won at Newbury in November. Last time at Lingfield there was no pace and it didn't suit him.
