Week 2 NFL Parlay Predictions, Odds

The 2023 season couldn’t have started worse for the Giants, but they now get a great opportunity to right the ship on Sunday, and we're examining their matchup as part of our NFL parlay predictions for Week 2 based on the top NFL odds from the best sports betting apps.

The New York Giants crashed back to earth during their 2023 season opener with a 40-0 loss at home to Dallas after making a surprise playoff appearance in 2022. New York trailed 26-0 before the midway point of the second quarter, and the team fumbled five times while giving up seven sacks in the ugly performance.

Still, the Giants are favored by more than a field goal for their Week 2 visit to an Arizona Cardinals squad that nearly pulled off the upset as touchdown underdogs during Week 1 in Washington. Can New York bounce back? Or will Arizona send the G-men tumbling to an 0-2 start?

Here are our best NFL parlay predictions (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale)

Best NFL Week 2 parlay predictions

Seahawks-Lions Over 47 (-110 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a classic bounce-back spot for the Seahawks after they essentially no-showed in the second half of their season opener versus the Rams, surrendering 23 unanswered points in a 30-13 loss at home. The players are saying all the right things, including star receiver DK Metcalf, who told the Seattle Times that the Rams simply played harder than his Seahawks.

However, if Seattle is going to bounce back, the team will need to put up points. Detroit’s offense wasn’t that impressive on Kansas City’s grass field in Week 1, scoring just 14 points (one of the Lions’ three scores came on an interception return). But the Lions are much more dangerous on the turf of Ford Field, where they’ve put up 25-plus points in 11 of their last 12 contests. They'll also enjoy the luxury of a few extra days to prepare after opening the season last Thursday.

Injuries oalong Seattle’s offensive line led to early action on the Under, dropping this total from 51 to 47. There’s been an average of 91.5 points scored in two meetings between these teams over the last two years, so I’ll happily be part of the buyback on the Over.

New York Giants ML (-210 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

There aren’t many worse ways to open a season than getting dominated 40-0 at home by a division rival on national television. But as bad as the Giants were Sunday night against Dallas, we do need to take that outcome with a grain of salt. New York self-destructed in the first quarter while allowing a blocked field-goal return for a TD and a pick-6, putting the G-Men in an early 16-0 hole that required Daniel Jones to throw during almost every play against Dallas’ ferocious pass rush.

A visit to Arizona is the perfect get-right spot for a Giants team that's chomping at the bit to prove its 2022 playoff appearance was no fluke. The Cardinals entered the campaign as the favorite to be the league's worst squad, and keeping it close against Washington in a 20-16 loss during Week 1 shouldn’t change that outlook. Arizona gained only 13 first downs, but the team managed to stay in the game thanks to three Commanders turnovers and Washington scoring TDs on just two of five red-zone trips.

The Cards are also getting one of the weakest home-field advantages in the league. They've gone 4-10 against the spread in their last 14 matchups at home and lost eight straight as a home dog. If you put the Week 1 results out of your mind, the Giants' moneyline at -250 or better looks as close as you can get to a free square on your NFL parlay bingo card.

New York Jets first-half spread +6 (-110 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

New York’s other team suffered an even bigger gut punch in Week 1, losing Aaron Rodgers for the season after just four plays. However, unlike the Giants, the Jets showed a ton of resilience, getting off the mat and rallying from a 13-3 halftime deficit to shock the Bills in overtime.

Zach Wilson was serviceable in relief of Rodgers, leading the Jets to three second-half scoring drives. But the bigger key was a New York defense that sacked Josh Allen five times while forcing four turnovers. That unit can keep the Jets in any game, and Dallas may be a bit overvalued after a 40-0 Week 1 rout of the Giants.

The Cowboys’ first two touchdowns of that outing came on special teams and defense, and Dallas finished the game with just 18 first downs and 265 total yards of offense.
