Why sportsbooks need Boston Scott's streak vs. Giants to end

Scott has a penchant for big games when it comes to playing against Big Blue and oddsmakers are expecting more domination for Scott on Christmas Day when the Giants travel to Lincoln Financial Field on Monday.

Scott is just +310 at FanDuel Sportsbook to score a touchdown against New York, wildly low odds for the Eagles’ little-used running back.

FanDuel tells The Post that massive amounts of money have come in on the Eagles’ usual third-string back.

“The book is hoping that Boston Scott’s dominance vs. the Giants comes to an end this week as he is by far the most popular Anytime Touchdown Scorer bet this week,” a FanDuel spokesperson told The Post. “He has scored a touchdown in every game he has played vs the Giants in his career, and the book needs that streak to end on Christmas.”

Below are Boston Scott’s wild stat lines against the Giants in his career.

Scott simply loves playing the Giants.

He’s averaged 51.8 rush yards per game and 4.8 yards per carry, with eight career touchdowns (seven rushing) in eight career regular-season games against Big Blue.

Perhaps lost in the shuffle is that Scott also played a playoff game against the Giants last season.

While playoff games don’t typically affect stats like this, Scott burned the Giants in that game too.

He scored — again — while rushing six times for 32 yards.

Including the postseason, Scott has scored in nine straight games against the Giants.

Can Big Blue finally stop this seemingly inevitable force?

Scott has not scored a touchdown yet this season, but these are still likely his lowest odds of the season, on par with Week 2, when Scott was the backup with Kenneth Gainwell out due to injury.
