There were 104 noms for six Santa Anita Opening Day Graded Stakes. The early post is set at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 26. Malibu, La Brea & American Oaks are the top Grade I Stake on the agenda.

Baffert has nominated Fun to Dream, Under the Stars and Ganadora to the American Oaks. The $300,000 American Oaks for 3-year-old fillies at a mile and one quarter on turf attracted 20 nominations. Rhea Moon is a major contender. The American oaks is the final Grade I opportunity of the year. It was first run at Hollywood Park in 2002. There are also some other possibilities. They include Midnight Stroll, Bellstreet Bridie, Salimah and Sparkle Blue. A few of them have been nominated to this year's AmericanOaks.
