Aqueduct Race Track opened in 1894 under the auspices of the Queens County Jockey Club in Queens, New York. The original track was demolished in 1956, but the new one reopened in 1959. In 1975 the inner track for winter racing was laid, and the outer dirt track winterized in 2017.
