The Dawgs went 14-1 in 2021, making the College Football Playoff and becoming the first No. 3 seed to win the national championship. Then Georgia went 15-0 in 2022, winning its second SEC Championship under Smart and its fourth-straight New Year's Six bowl game, with Smart earning his 13th, 14th, and 15th wins over a top 10 opponent in the march to back-to-back titles. Georgia was able to do something in January that had not been done in nine years, winning back-to-back National Championships after taking TCU down 65-7 in the CFP title game. That win made them the 11th team and eighth program to have won repeat national championships since the start of the modern era in 1936.

Georgia, at 7-0, is preparing to take on Florida in Jacksonville, Fla. this Saturday. Michigan, at 8-0, is on bye this week, with a home game against Purdue set for Nov. 4.
