2023 NHL Western Conference Finals: Vegas Golden Knights vs Dallas Stars Game 6 Preview and Prediction

Game six of the Western Conference Finals is all set to go tonight as the Vegas Golden Knights head back to Dallas to take on the Stars. Puck-drop between the two sides is all set for 8:00 p.m. EST from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

The Golden Knights come in still feeling good but like they let a great chance slip away the other night. Now they have to go on the road to face the Stars in another potential close out situation. Vegas could very easily take this game but this has been a desperate Stars team over the last two. If Vegas wants to close out Dallas, they need to get back to the basics and that starts with their defense. They need to be more physical at the point of attack against the Stars and limit any good shot opportunities from this explosive Dallas attack. If they can do that, it should lead to better offensive chances for themselves and their speed could win the day for them. Vegas needs to pressure Dallas and take the crowd out of the game early on if they are going to win this series here.

Dallas comes in feeling very good. After staving off elimination twice now, they have a chance to put all the pressure back on Vegas if they can take this game at home. The Stars have been dominant at home this season and boast one of the deeper squads around the NHL. Their veteran experience has led them to this point and they are going to be a tough out. They fight hard on both sides of the ice and have been one of the best defensive teams all season long. If they can get continue to play their game as they have the last two matchups, we could very well see a win or take all game seven in a few days. 

Game Prediction: Vegas Golden Knights 4, Dallas Stars 2

Give me the Knights to bounce back and close out this series. They get back to the basics and advance to the Stanley Cup Finals.
