49ers vs. Broncos preview: Kyle Shanahan is the Niners biggest X-Factor

The 49ers are going to Denver to take on the Broncos in primetime on Sunday. DraftKings Sportsbook has the 49er as 1.5 point favorites. Nathaniel Hackett was hired this past offseason after serving as the offensive coordinator of the Green Bay Packers from 2019-2021. He had never been a head coach before taking the job in Denver and hadn't handled play-calling duties since the 2018 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hacket burned 40 seconds of game clock in the week one meeting with Seahawks by taking a timeout and trying a 64-yard field goal.

The 49ers defense is off to a good start and they have a chance to beat Denver's offense. Denver has been in the red zone six times this season and haven't scored a touchdown on any of those drives. The Broncos are last in NFL in terms of offense, with a 7.7 yards per play. Broncos quarterback Wilson has a 16-4 record against San Francisco in his career. 49er's defense has the No. 1 ranked defense and is getting after quarterbacks.
