5 things to look out for in the EFL

The Championship takes centre stage in the EFL this weekend as teams from League One and League Two enter the FA Cup first round. Liam Rosenior takes charge of Hull City for the first time as they travel to Millwall.

Burnley are unbeaten in seven league games on the road this season. They are the only team in the EFL yet to lose on a Saturday this term. Burnley travel to Sheffield Utd on Saturday at 12:30.

Liam Rosenior is back at Hull City after a spell at Derby County. The Tigers were beaten 3-1 by Middlesbrough on Tuesday. They are one point above the bottom three. Hull have won their last two away games. Millwall have recently won 15 home league matches in 2022.

Blackburn lost to Coventry on Tuesday and are five points behind local rivals Burnley. They welcome Huddersfield to Ewood Park on Saturday. Danny Ward has scored four goals in his last four starts against Blackburn.

Watford have won 17 of their last 21 home games in the Championship. Coventry haven't conceded an away goal since a 2-2 draw with Luton in September.

Stoke beat Wigan on Wednesday. Birmingham travel to Stoke on Saturday. Alex Neil has only won seven of his last 32 home Championship matches. Stoke to win is 21/20, Birmingham to lose is 13/5.
