EFL Championship Outright Title Winner, Promotion and Relegation odds

EFLChampionship Outright Title Winner, Promotion and Relegation odds as we look at the 2023/24 season.

With the 2022/23 campaign now over, our attention turns to the next one and who is being tipped to reach the big time and fall to the third tier.

Leicester, Leeds and Southampton have returned to the Championship after succumbing to relegation and head the market to bounce back at the first time of asking.

The parachute payments received by the trio of clubs and any transfer fees they should receive for their key players will no doubt give them a financial advantage over their fellow Championship rivals.

However, all three relegated sides will know regardless of that, it is a tough league to get out of, with Watford and Norwich failing to even make the playoffs after suffering relegation

Ipswich, Plymouth and Sheffield Wednesday all managed to make it out of an hugely competitive League One last season and will be hoping to do well again next season.

Here’s what fans are saying as the EFL Championship Outright Title Winner, Promotion and Relegation odds are revealed…

@jaymeeteewhu98: 23/24 Championship is gonna be seriously fun to watch!

@JackAFCEdwards: Would love to see Preston, Coventry and Bristol City promoted. But realistically think it will be between Leicester, Leeds, Middlesborough, Southampton and Sunderland.

@ElliotLane11: Proper Coca-Cola/Npower vibes in there

@camofclass: I think Leeds and Leicester go straight back up, hopefully a new team from the play offs, would love to see stoke, Swansea or QPR back in the prem

@Adam_Macadie: I obviously would’ve preferred to go up but this league is going to be incredible. So many contenders for autos/play offs #boro

@SibsMUFC: Best it’s looked in years. Should be a brilliant watch.

@jps_237:
Southampton win league
Huddersfield get promoted
Birmingham go down

@CricketZimWI93: Hope Wednesday Southampton and QPR get promoted. Also wouldn’t mind Swansea either. The Championship is definitely the 5th or 6th best league in the world. I love it more than the premier league to be honest

@carlsmith_88: Toughest that’s looked in a long time!!

@SAFC_Luke_2703: We’re going up

@PhiliconYT:
Top 6
1st. Leeds
2nd. Leicester
3rd. Southampton (P)
4th. Boro
5th. Sunderland
6th. Blackburn
Bottom 3:
22nd. Watford
23rd. Preston
24th. Birmingham

@Blueboy57237480: The premier league swapping leicester, leeds and southampton for burnley, sheff utd and luton has to be the biggest downgrade since charlie swapped diana for camilla.

@OliverMadden9: That looks like a real high quality League next season with a lot of very good teams in it. Probably at least 12 clubs will fancy their chances of going up. Boro 1st, Leeds 2nd. Play-offs I don’t have a clue. I can see another Luton story maybe.

@Kieranbcfc2: Some league that, gonna be carnage

@DannyMania2: Hands down going be the best championship season in a long time

@JamiefSquires: Going to a really hard league next year, as a Sunderland fan I think finishing top 6 again is possible but it’s going to be a big fight, the 3 coming down should be very competitive

@memyselfandkeit:
Bottom 3
Hull
Sheffield pigs
Rotherham

@weeden_sam: There’s literally 15 teams who will fancy themselves for the top 6 here (not us). Hardest league I’ve seen since we came back up. #pnefc

@zackgif: 24th: QPR.

@georgiem92x: Ngl this looks more exciting than the Prem for next season

@TomHarrisonLaw: 16th-20th next season will be success based upon our squad and our recruitment this summer. #pnefc

@Rick_H1988: Strap yourselves in for a rough ride lads. #pnefc

@jcourts1991: Easily 10 teams there that will fancy their chances of promotion… Be quite the season to be fair

@callumbridge7: some big clubs in that, can see this season being a real challenge, hopefully we see a few incoming and outgoings & Carlos gets the boys playing his way, we can only hope #WBA
