Sports fans keep an eye on player transfers. Some transfers were rumoured for a long time but never came true. If you play the soccer odds, you need to keep a close eye.

Gerard Houllier suggested Cristiano Ronaldo to Sir Alex Ferguson that started all the talk of his move to Liverpool. Houllo wanted to hire Ronaldo but he didn't have the wages available to keep the player happy.

Ronaldinho was supposed to join Manchester United. Barcelona won the bidding war for his services. Kenyon didn't better the bid. Ronaldinho went on to win a UEFA Championship and FIFA player of the year award twice in a row.
