76ers vs Bulls Prediction

The Philadelphia 76ers invade the United Center to take on the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been in great form as they’ve won nine of their last 11 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after having their eight-game win streak halted by the Bulls in a 109-105 double overtime loss on Monday. Joel Embiid led the team with 37 points and 16 rebounds, Tyrese Maxey added 22 points with six assists while De’Anthony Melton chipped in with 19 points off the bench. As a team, the 76ers shot 42 percent from the field and 10 of 36 from the 3-point line as they forced overtime thanks to a clutch layup from Maxey, before they allowed the Bulls to score the final eight points of the game to escape in the end.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in fine form as they’ve won five of their last six games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after sneaking past the 76ers on Monday. Zach LaVine led the team with 26 points and seven assists, DeMar DeRozan added 25 points while Nikola Vucevic chipped in with 21 points, 12 rebounds and four steals. As a team, the Bulls shot just 41 percent from the field and seven of 33 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in deep trouble in the second overtime, before they score the game’s final eight points to steal the win in a close finish.

Looking at the betting trends, the 76ers are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall, the 76ers are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and the 76ers are 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings in Chicago.

The 76ers could be shorthanded in this one as James Harden and PJ Tucker are both listed as questionable, while the Bulls are keeping an eye on Alex Caruso who is listed as questionable. The 76ers were enjoying an eight-game win streak before they ran into the Bulls on Monday, so they would love to get their revenge here. The Bulls showed again that they can upset any team on their day, but it’s always hard to beat the same team twice in a row. The 76ers are 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings in Chicago and I think that trend continues here as the 76ers get their revenge.
