Lakers vs Bulls Prediction

The Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls collide at the United Center on Wednesday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers have been in decent form as they’ve won four of their last seven games overall, but they will be eager to bounce back here after having their three-game win streak halted by the Bulls in a 118-108 loss on Sunday. Malik Beasley and Troy Brown Jr each scored 18 points, Dennis Schroder added 17 points with five assists while Austin Reaves chipped in with 13 points and seven assists. As a team, the Lakers shot 50 percent from the field and 13 of 36 from the 3-point line but they just had no answer for the Bulls’ Zach LaVine who barely missed on his way to 32 points.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in red-hot form as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games overall, but they will be looking to come out stronger after falling short to the Clippers in a 124-112 road loss on Monday. Zach LaVine led the team with 23 points on eight of 13 shooting, DeMar DeRozan added 21 points with seven assist while Nikola Vucevic chipped in with 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Bulls shot 53 percent from the field and nine of 23 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start, only to allow 72 points in the second and third quarters combined to fall behind by as many as 25 points before they made any sort of a comeback.

Looking at the betting trends, the Lakers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on two days rest, 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a losing record and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Bulls are 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games against a team with a losing record and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the over is 6-1 in the last seven meetings overall and the Lakers are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Chicago.

The Lakers could be shorthanded again as LeBron James is listed as questionable for this one, while the Bulls are keeping an eye on Javonte Green and Alex Caruso who are both questionable here. We’re in for a good contest as both teams are coming into this one with winning momentum, but the Lakers are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Chicago and I think they make the necessary adjustments to come out on top in this one.
