As the MLB playoffs move into the divisional round, several of ourbest MLB betting sites already have World Series MVP odds available with eight teams remaining in the field.

Freeman isn't too far removed from being named the NL MVP in 2020. Now he's a central figure on a team well-positioned to advance far, and he's fresh off a season with a sparkling .311/.410/.567 slash line.

World Series MVP odds 2023: Long shot

Justin Verlander (+5000 via BetMGM, bet365)

Verlander is a three-time Cy Young Award winner, a two-time World Series winner, and he was named the ALCS MVP in 2017. He's also a 40-year-old pitcher who's finally beginning to show his age and is coming off a season in which he posted a 3.22 ERA, which was dramatically higher than his 1.75 rate in 2022.

But this would be a bet on Verlander rekindling his posteason magic. That alone could be worth a sprinkle at highly appealing odds.
