Jeff Bezos is an early favourite to buy NFL franchise Washington Commanders. The team is estimated to be worth £4.8billion. Dan Snyder and his wife Tanya hired Bank of America Securities to sell the team. There are allegations that Snyder hired private investigators to look into other NFL owners. He denies the allegations. Washington Post published articles in July 2020 detailing accounts from former female employees alleging sexual harassment by various staff members. Snyder was instructed to step away from the storied franchise's day-to-day operations and handed control to wife.
