Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has called for Tottenham to put Antonio Conte “out of his misery” by sacking him following his explosive rant after Spurs’ draw against Southampton at the weekend.
A seething Antonio Conte furiously ripped into his players in his post-match press conference following Tottenham’s 3-3 draw against bottom of the table Southampton on Saturday.
The Italian refused to accept responsibility for what’s gone wrong during his time at Spurs, citing that it’s an issue that lies deeper than who manages the club.
Reports since the rant have revealed that Conte has clarified his comments to the Spurs board, indicating that they were solely aimed at the players.

Sky Sports pundit and former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has urged Spurs to dismiss the Italian.
“Conte wants to be sacked this international break,” said Carragher.
“Spurs should just put him out of his misery and do it tonight.”
