Pochettino Favourite In Next Tottenham Manager Odds Following UCL Exit

As pressure mounts on Antonio Conte after Spurs’ Champions League exit, Mauricio Pochettino has been identified as the favourite in the next permanent Tottenham manager odds.

Tottenham were eliminated from the Champions League yesterday evening, as AC Milan ran out as 1-0 winners over two legs.

Brahim Diaz’ first-leg opener was enough to send the Italians to the last-8.

It comes after a couple of poor results for Antonio Conte’s side, having lost the previous two matches 1-0 to Sheffield United and Wolves.

This has seen Conte leapfrog other managers to become the favourite in the next Premier League manager to be sacked odds.

The Italian is now priced at 3/2 to be dismissed by Spurs.

Rumours of Conte’s exit have been rife for a few months now. Reports have suggested that Daniel Levy is unhappy with the Italian and was not preparing to offer him a new contract at the end of the campaign.

Former boss Mauricio Pochettino has been identified as the favourite to take over at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Pochettino left Spurs back in 2019, and joined PSG two years later.

His one year stint with the Parisiens saw him win the Ligue 1, Coupe de France and the Trophee des Champions. Despite earning three pieces of silverware, his time in Paris is largely considered unsuccessful.

However, the Argentine is now priced at 11/8 to make a sensational return to north London, as Conte looks set to be shown the door.

Another option for Levy may be that of Thomas Tuchel. The former Chelsea boss is the bookies’ second favourite to take over from Conte – priced at 5/1 to join Spurs.
