Are Sportsbooks Refunding Bets on Tyreek Hill After His Injury?
Tyreek Hill has been having a historically good season at the wide receiver position, as he is on pace to become the first player in NFL history to go for over 2,000 receiving yards.
Hill entered tonight’s game with over 100 receiving yards and one touchdown in each of his last three games. With the Dolphins as 14-point favorites, matched up against a Titans defense that struggles in defending the pass, many bettors expected Hill to have a huge game tonight. But in the first quarter he suffered an ankle injury, leaving many bettors wondering if the sportsbooks will be offering refunds.
Are Any Sportsbooks Refunding Bets on Tyreek Hill?
Sometimes, when a notable player suffers an injury in a prime-time game, sportsbooks will offer refunds to their customers on bets involving such player.
A more common practice has been refunding any boosts or promos with the player featured, or offering customers their money back if they were the one losing leg of a parlay or same game parlay.
With Hill getting injured in Monday Night Football in the middle of the first quarter, and having just two catches for 13 yards at that point, he would certainly fit the bill of a player sportsbooks could be offering refunds for.
At the moment, no sportsbooks have announced refunds on Hill bets, but we will continue monitoring the situation on social media and provide updates here.
To no surprise, sportsbooks received a ton of bets on Hill tonight. At both BetMGM and DraftKings, Hill not only was the most bet on player to score a touchdown, which was the most bet on prop bet at both sportsbooks.
But there was also more than 97% of the money on the over for his receiving yards prop with both operators as well.

Tyreek Hill returned to the game in the middle of the third quarter. Since he wasn’t ruled out for the entire game, it’s highly unlikely now any sportsbooks will be offering refunds on Hill bets.
