Arsenal vs West Ham Tips

BTTS has cashed in 50% of Arsenal’s matches this season, that figure rises to 67% at home. Brighton, Sheffield United and Man City are the only three teams who have failed to score here this season whilst the likes of Burnley, Fulham, Wolves and Forest have all netted on their visit.

West Ham’s BTTS record is impressive, 13 of their 18 matches have seen both sides score in 23/24 with eight of their nine matches on the road seeing this selection win. Their previous away trip at Craven Cottage was the only time they failed to score.

Jarrod Bowen is having a super season; he’s bagged 11 times across the campaign. Only Haaland, Salah and Solanke have scored more than the forward. Mohammed Kudus has impressed in recent weeks; the Ghanaian has scored six times in 872 minutes of Premier League action.

It’ll be a shock if Arsenal fail to score here, Brighton were the last side to keep a clean sheet at The Emirates, that came at the back end of last season. West Ham have kept just three clean sheets of their own, they all came at home.

Both meetings last season saw BTTS in each clash. West Ham scored just 42 goals last campaign; they’ve already scored 31 in 18 matches in 23/24. They’re much better offensively and should give the home side problems.

Bukayo Saka Over 2.5 Shots & Over 0.5 Fouls Committed

Bukayo Saka is having another fine campaign, he has 11 goal contributions to his name in the Premier League this season and tends to perform more consistently at home.

Saka has recorded three shots or more in seven of his eight matches at The Emirates this term, he’s had exactly three shots on six separate occasions with four arriving against Brighton last time out. He’s also committed a foul in seven matches from those eight, that includes each of the last six.

The proposed selection is appealing, the price is great and considering it has won in six matches from a possible eight, it provides some nice value.

West Ham have conceded plenty of shots on their travels all season. They’ve conceded 11 or more attempts in every away day. Brighton, Liverpool and Villa all racked up greater than 20 shots each and I’d expect Arsenal to get close to that figure.

A win here puts Arsenal top of the Premier League, an added incentive for Saka and his side. I expect the fan favourite to thrive on Thursday night and be heavily involved just like he usually is when playing in front of the home support.
