Atlanata Hawks sign Trent Forrest to two-way contract
The Atlanta Hawks signed Chipley and Florida State alum Trent Forrest to a two-way contract on Monday morning. Forrest spent the past two seasons with the Utah Jazz. He will play for the closest NBA organization to his hometown. The 24-year-old guard will be limited to 50 games during the regular season and spend the rest of the time in the G League. The terms of his contract were not disclosed. Mike Gates, former Chiply head basketball coach, is excited about Forrest playing close to home.
