Ben Ali Stakes Predictions, Picks, Odds (Keeneland)

Warrant is the favorite in Saturday's $300,000 Ben Ali Stakes at Keeneland. The 4-year-old son of Constitution was beaten just ahead by Express Train in the Big Cap seven weeks ago. Mighty Heart is a two-time Canadian Horse of the Year winner. Godolphin's homebred Proxy won four consecutive graded stakes last year.

Warrant finished second in his seasonal debut. He is the favorite for Ben Ali Stakes on Saturday. The son of Constitution is a three-time stakes winner last year. He might be ready to move up to the big leagues this year, but he's not my top pick.

Godolphin's Godolphin homebred has won just one race in his nine-race career. Last time he finished second in the New Orleans Classic. He has run nine good races in all of them. The son of Tapit might be a secondary winner.

Dynamic One won the Curlin Stakes at Saratoga and just missed in the Grade 2 Wood Memorial last year. After a layoff of 6 ½ months, he returned to the races in a stakes race at Tampa Bay Downs last month and finished third to Scalding.

Scalding has made his career debut in November of his 3-year-old season. He has since made four starts and won maiden and allowance races at Gulfstream Park and Tampa Bay Downs. Scalded won the Challenger Stakes at Tampa last time.

Mighty Heart won the Canadian-bred son of Dramedy's second consecutive Horse of the Year title. He makes his first start of 2022 at Woodbine on Saturday. Last year he started his season at Keeneland and finished third.

Title Ready is a 7-year-old son of More Than Ready. He has more than $700,000 in the bank. Title Ready was a graded stakes winner early last season. Last time he raced he was beaten less than two lengths in an Oaklawn Park allowance race.

Tartufo finished third in the Kentucky Cup Classic at Turfway Park three weeks ago. Tartufi won back-to-back races this winter, but they came against cheaper horses.

Cowboy Diplomacy is a 6-year-old gelding from the barn of Brendan Walsh. He has shown some flashes of talent but his races have been spread out.
