Texas Quinn Ewers Over 265.5 Passing Yards (-117) vs. Oklahoma State (Caesars Sportsbook)

Oklahoma State didn’t play the most demanding schedule in the world. They won the games they needed to win, and the big one was against Oklahoma 27-24 on November 4. This win was why the Cowboys are playing for the Big 12 Championship, but they’re not on Texas’ level, and this game could get out of hand early.

Watching Oklahoma State play BYU was infuriating because I bet on the Cowboys' live multiple times early in the game, and they played with no passion. Oklahoma State isn’t great, and if they come out flat, they’ll get smacked by a quality opponent.

The most significant area where I see Texas attacking Oklahoma State is in the passing game. Quinn Ewers has done an excellent job protecting the football this season, and the Longhorns must make a statement to have a chance at the College Football Playoff. You make a statement by scoring a lot of points.

Oklahoma State has the third-worst passing defense in the Big 12. They’ve found ways to make stops when it counts, but Ewers and players like Xavier Worthy could have a field day on Saturday.

Ewers has gone over this in two of his past three games, but he was benched at the half against Texas Tech with 196 yards. I don’t expect the Cowboys to have an answer for Ewers in this game.

Iowa Deacon Hill Over 104.5 Passing Yards (-114) vs. Michigan (bet365)

Michigan is expected to be on cruise control in the Big Ten Championship Game. First, I don’t believe Michigan is a National Championship caliber team, and the biggest reason for that is JJ McCarthy, but I think he will lead touchdown drives for the Wolverines in this game.

Michigan’s offense should be set up well because Iowa’s offense will struggle to run the ball early. At some point in this game, the Hawkeyes will have to abandon the run game if the score reflects the spread at 22 points.

Iowa hasn’t played in a game where they’re severely behind often this season. We usually see their games as one-possession contests where they can lean on the run. They shouldn’t have this luxury in the Big Ten Championship, and this is where Deacon Hill comes into play.

Hill took over for Cade McNamara, and the 6’3”, 258, 258-pound quarterback has helped the team win. He hasn’t done anything special, but 104.5 is slightly low for Iowa's position on Saturday night.

He has gone over this total three times in his past five games. He has five 100+ yard performances in his past five games. The Hawkeyes have some playmakers like Nico Ragaini, who can rack up yards after the catch. I just can’t see the quarterback going under this line unless Michigan is on upset alert in the second half.
