Best NBA prop bets today for Nets vs. Celtics (Is Jrue Holiday due?)

The Boston Celtics are looking to snap a two-game losing streak when they take on the Brooklyn Nets in an NBA In-Season Tournament Group Play matchup on Friday night.

Boston won’t have Al Horford in this game, but that could bring some opportunities for us to attack the prop market in this game.

Plus, the Celtics aren’t the only banged-up team in this matchup.

Brooklyn is down several key players including Cam Thomas, Ben Simmons, Nic Claxton, and Cameron Johnson, so we’re focusing on the Celtics only in the prop market in this matchup.

Jrue Holiday OVER 25.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists

Holiday has cleared 25.5 points, rebounds, and assists in four of his seven games this season, although he failed to go over it in his last game against Philly.

The Boston offense struggled as a whole in that game, but the team is in a prime bounce-back spot against a shorthanded Brooklyn team that is just 24th in the league in defensive rating this season.

Boston put up 124 points against the Nets last weekend, and Holiday finished that game with 18 points, nine rebounds, and 10 dimes. I love him to go OVER this number tonight.

Kristaps Porzingis UNDER 8.5 Rebounds

Even with Horford out, I’m not sold on Kristaps Porzingis hitting the glass at a high level in this game.

The former lottery pick has more than eight rebounds in just one game this season, and he’s averaging just 6.7 boards per game.

Porzingis’ minutes don’t depend on Horford, as we’ll likely just see more of Luke Kornet in this contest – while KP’s minutes stay where they usually are.

I think this line is an overreaction since Porzingis hasn’t had more than eight boards in a game since the team’s second game of the season.
