Best NBA prop picks November 20: Expect Doncic to rack up assists

The NBA offers eight games for bettors today.

Luka Doncic is expected to score a lot of points and make a few assists. Andrew Wiggins and De’Aaron Fox will face exploitable defences.

Doncic is a league-best scorer and one of the NBA's foremost facilitators. He ranks sixth in the league in assists per game (8.1) and third in assist rate (43.3%). Doncick dished 11 assists against the Denver Nuggets on Friday. Denver allows 26.6 assists a game, which is the seventh most among teams.

Doncic has cleared this line in each of his past three games against the Nuggets.

Wiggins is averaging 18.1 points per game this season and 18 per cent in three games against Houston last year. Houston is ranked 27th in defensive rating and 24th on opponent field goal percentage.

Fox has gone over 35.5 P+R+A in eight of 14 games overall. Fox has a chance to do so tonight against a poor Pistons team. Detroit has the second-worst defensive rating in the league (116.7) and the fifth-highest field goal percentage (47.9%). Fox had 27 points, six rebounds and eight assists against the Pistons in January of last season.
