BetMGM and BetRivers Launch New Sports Betting Features for the 2023-24 NFL Season

BetMGM has revamped its app to make it easier to use – and potentially more profitable for its customer base. BetMGM is debuting a free-to-play Survivor Pool, which offers a $100,000 grand prize.

As the NFL season kicks off this week, NFL fans are discovering new legal sports betting features and options from BetMGM and BetRivers.  

The American Gaming Association is predicting 73.5 million Americans will bet on the NFL this season. Rush Street Interactive (RSI) and BetMGM are ready for first-time bettors – and experienced pros – with new parlay options, free-to-play games, and higher bonuses.

BetMGM Offers $100,000 Survivor Pool, Seamless Travel. And Hometown Odds Boost

BetMGM has revamped its app to make it easier to use – and potentially more profitable for its customer base. BetMGM is debuting a free-to-play Survivor Pool, which offers a $100,000 grand prize. It’s also bringing back its popular 8-Bit Barry, a free game featuring a virtual Barry Sanders, Players select an option for Sanders to execute. If Sanders succeeds, players can win parlay tokens, odds boost tokens, same-game parlay insurance tokens, bonus bets, and more. 

Customers in Arizona, Maryland, Colorado, Michigan, New York, or Tennessee will be eligible for a special Team Partner Hometown Odds Boost. Bettors can get an exclusive 50% live odds boost token for games featuring the Cardinals, Ravens, Broncos, Lions, Jets, or Titans. 

Another feature customers will enjoy is the ability to use a single account when traveling across multiple states. Login and cash balance details travel with customers within approved markets. So far, this feature does not include Nevada, Canada, and Puerto Rico. 

BetMGM is also launching Same-Game Palay+. Players will now be able to connect two different same-gam parlays into a single bet. BetMGM is also boosting its first bet offers going into the NFL season. First-time players have the choice of either placing up to $1,500 on their first bat and have it refunded in bonus bets if it loses, or wager $10 on any football game and instantly receive $200 in bonus bets.  

BetRivers Launches Prop Central and Expands Squares

RSI posted impressive earnings for the second quarter this year. Much of its improvement was due to parlay and prop bets. So, it's not surprising that the company is putting more focus on these profitable features. Meanwhile, its Squares product continues to be popular with bettors. 

RSI will be expanding its Squares promotional game for the upcoming football season. Squares will be available on all NFL games – and most college games. As before, RSI will be offering a $10,0000 Bonus Money grand prize. But it will also award bettors a Profit Boost for “near misses.” For instance, if a bettor correctly matches only one of the two numbers, RSI will award the play a 25% Profit Boost, providing more chances to win at no additional cost.
