Red Bull are heavily backed to take the most points from the Mexico City GP. Ferrari are currently 53 points clear of Mercedes in P2. McLaren are six points behind in the P4 standings. Alpine and McLaren have 201 points between them.
The last six races held at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez have featured the Safety Car. This year's race is more likely that Bernd Maylander will need to make an appearance during the 71-lap encounter.
