Who looks set to star in the final Sprint of the season?
The penultimate round of the 2022 Formula 1 season takes place in Sao Paulo. Red Bull's Max Verstappen is looking to add to his tally of wins. Ferrari and Mercedes are aiming for morale-boosting wins of their own.
Max Verstappen is favourite to win the final Sprint of the season in Brazil. Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton are second and third in the odds. The Sprint format is being deployed at Interlagos for the second year running. Last year Hamilton recovered from P20 to P1 in both the 100km dash and main Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen is fastest in the first lap. Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Sergio Perez, Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso, Lando Norris, Daniel Ricciardo, Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly, Valtteri Bottas, Mick Schumacher, Nicholas Latifi, Sebastian Vettel, Yuki Tsunoda, Zhou Guanyu 901.
Max Verstappen and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc are joint pole position favourites for the final Sprint of the season. Ferrari have achieved the most poles this season with 12. Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz are outside bets to join the battle with team mates VerStappens and LeClerc. Mercedes pair George Russell and Lewis Hamilton are another step back.

Max Verstappen is all but nailed on to finish on the podium this weekend. Lando Norris is the only driver outside the top six to claim a podium finish this season. Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon are the most likely to spring a surprise.
Max Verstappen is the fastest lap this season. He has five fastest laps so far this year. Perez, Leclerc and Russell have three each. If they do not do more laps in Brazil and Abu Dhabi, they will be level with Ver stupendous.

Mercedes are within 40 points of Ferrari in the race for P2 in F1 standings. Alpine and McLaren are split by seven points in P4. Alfa Romeo are only four points clear of Aston Martin in sixth place.
The Safety Car has appeared in three of the last four Grands Prix held at Interlagos. The odds are with the Safety car appearing again in 2022.
The final Sprint of the season takes place on November 10, 2022.
