Betting the Big Ten: Week 10

Week 9 of Betting the Big Ten was highlighted by the late-game back and forth between the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes. Michigan missed covering and I got greedy on Iowa unders.

Ohio State is 6-2 on overs this season and Northwestern is 4-1 on over when it is the underdog. The weather forecast shows a high chance of rain and some heavy winds. Northwestern lost to Penn State last time they faced adverse weather.

Minnesota is a 16-point favorite at home against Nebraska. The Golden Gophers are 5-2 against the spread. Nebraska is 1-4 ATS at its home games.

Iowa is playing at Purdue on Saturday at noon. The game is a toss-up. Purdue has gone over in six of eight games this season.

Maryland is favored by 5 points over Wisconsin. The weather is not supposed to be as bad in Madison as it is in Evanston.

Penn State is playing at Indiana on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The last two games between these teams were decided by five points or less.

Michigan State is playing at Illinois on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The game is a toss-up. Illinois is 6-2 ATS this season and 4-1 at home. Michigan State will be without eight players due to suspension.

Michigan is 1-6-1 on over/unders overall and 0-2 on the road this season. Rutgers is 3-5. Michigan is focusing on red zone efficiency this week.
