England vs Ukraine betting tips

England go looking to make it two wins from two when Ukraine visit Wembley this weekend.

Thursday night's huge win in Italy marked a strong start to this qualification campaign that puts them firmly in the driving seat.

It's the Three Lions' first win in Italy since 1961 and banished (some of) the demons of the Euro 2020 final heartache.

Harry Kane is now England's record goalscorer after notching a penalty in Naples.

Knowing Kane, it's probably unlikely he'll rest on his laurels with that one, instead looking to extend his lead.

This is Ukraine's first game of qualifying after a free week in midweek.

Mykhailo Mudryk and co took on a Brentford XI to keep themselves ticking over - a game that included David Beckham's boy, Romeo.

Right from the off...

It's England's first game here since that 3-3 draw with Germany in September.

So the crowd will be thrilled again to watch this Three Lions team on show again.

They had to put on a different display in the second half in midweek, showing that grit and determination to see out the win.

This will be different though. And a fast start could well be on the cards.

Stuck in…

He's likely to be up against some old pals here, but Oleksandr Zinchenko will be fired up to get a result.

If operating from left back, it could be club pal Bukayo Saka facing him. Although wherever he looks, there is a team-mate or ex-team-mate against him.

His passion while playing for the war-torn country is undeniable and he'll be again eager to get stuck in.

He's made 51 tackles in the Premier League up until this point and that's with a team dominating most games.

Should he be moved centrally, you sense his tackle numbers could climb and we're happy to back him to deliver on that front.

Make a big difference

Those two goals in the first half in Italy couldn't be added to in the second period.

But with England's dynamic front three and Jude Bellingham in behind, the score could have been anything before the break.

In front of their home supporters, it could be time again for the Three Lions to put on a goal show.

These two last met in the quarter finals at Euro 2020 when England stuck four beyond Sunday's visitors.

With three in the last home game against the Germans, goal scoring isn't an issue and shouldn't be here.
