Bing Crosby Season Opens with Racing, Events Aplenty Through Dec. 4
Del Mar's fall racing meet begins on Friday and runs until December 4th. The full stakes schedule is the most lucrative ever, at a total of $2.45 million. There will be a Thanksgiving holiday exception on November 24th, when racing starts at 11 a.m. and finishes around 3 p. m. General admission costs $6, seniors receive free admission and a program. The event schedule includes a Veterans Day salute on opening day, an “Uncorked: Derby Days Wine Festival” on Saturday, ‘Brunch & Brews’ and College Day.
