Blackhawks Monday Report: Luke Richardson stays upbeat, Dylan Strome returns

The Blackhawks have lost three of their last 20 games. Luke Richardson is trying to keep his players positive. He promotes positivity. The team has to work hard and find ways to generate more offense. They have to defend better. It's a new day. John Tortorella said the team sucks. He didn't mean it. There's no need to be negative. Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane are loyal to Richardson. Dylan Strome is back. Chicago won't play on Monday. Blackhawk fans are frustrated. Their team is on a losing streak. Blackhawks coach promotes positive attitude. His approach is different than John Tortsorello's.

Dylan Strome has more points than any Blackhawks player this season. Stromer played for Jeremy Colliton and Derek King. He was let go by the Blackhawks. Now he plays for the Washington Capitals. He has six goals and 16 assists in 29 games. Patrick Kane has 20 points. The Capitals visit Chicago on Tuesday. They are playing on a home-ice advantage. It's a game between the Capitals and the Blackhawk's. Kane believes Strumer's reputation is still tarnished. His contract with the Caps is $3.5 million.

Kane played a big role in Dylan Strome earning that big salary. DeBrincat is going to get a huge raise next season. Kane laughed when asked if he should get some of those contracts. He said he enjoyed playing with Artemi Panarin and Cat and Stromer.

Alex DeBrincat has two goals and five assists in the last eight games for the Ottawa Senators.

Brandon Hagel has been playing well for the Tampa Bay Lightning this season.

Dominik Kubalik has cooled off since his hot start. He's still second on the team with 10 goals and 15 assists through 27 games.

Adam Gaudette was suspended for three games for high hit/interference on Senators prospect Viktor Lodin.

Artem Anisimov signed a contract with Lehigh Valley Phantoms for the remainder of the season. An isimov had been injured in the Philadelphia Flyers’ training camp.

The Chicago Blackhawks have 11 losses in their last 12 games. Anaheim Ducks have only one victory in the last eight games, and they are third-to-last in league standings.

Cole Guttman scored for the fifth time in eight games on Saturday. He has six goals and six assists in 14 games this season for Rockford IceHogs.

Gavin Hayes, forward, Flint Firebirds (OHL), had a 10-game stretch in November where he had zero goals and four assists. In his last six games, he's produced seven goals, two assists and for the season, Hayes has 15 goals and 14 assists in 29 games.

Dominic James extended his points streak to five games with a goal in each of Duluth’s games against Denver this past weekend. James has six goals and six assists in 16 games this season.

Sam Rinzel is playing for the U.S. in the World Junior A Challenge in Canada.

Ryder Rolston scored in each of Notre Dame's games this past week. He has six goals and seven assists in 18 games so far this season. The Blackhawks may try to sign him after the season, if he stays on the college level.

Aidan Thompson scored the game-winning goal in overtime against Minnesota Duluth on Saturday. Thompson has been producing since returning from injury in November.
