BMW PGA Championship Predictions, Best Bets, Odds

The DP World Tour switches back to England this week for one of the biggest events on the calendar. Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Matt Fitzpatrick, Shane Lowry, Viktor Hovland and defending champion Billy Horschel are all there. 17 players have defected to LIV.

Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Matt Fitzpatrick, Shane Lowry, Viktor Hovland and Billy Horschel are all playing. 17 players from LIV have defected to the DP Tour. Martin Kaymer didn't want to play in a tournament where he didn’t feel welcome.

Wentworth is a tree-lined heathland track that requires course management and control from the tee to the tricky bentgrass greens. Horschel won with 19-under last year and the previous three winning totals were -19 (Tyrrell Hatton), -20 (Danny Willett), and -17 (Francesco Molinari).

Viktor Hovland is playing in BMW PGA Championship at East Lake. He finished tied 11th on debut in 2010. Hvland has won the BMW International Open in Germany in 2021 and the Dubai Desert Classic at the start of this year. Back him at +2000 to win the tournament.

Shane Lowry is the favourite to win the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth. US Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick is a close second. Richard Mansell won a match bet last week.  

Fabrizio Zanotti has been a strong performer at Wentworth in the past. He has four top 20s in his last eight appearances and three further top 25s. Zanotto was tied 16th and tied 12th in last two weeks.
