The Celtics come into the contest as the 3-point favorite on the road with the total set at 214.5 points. The OVER is 10-3 in Boston’s last 13 games and 4-1 in Miami’s last five outings, while the Heat have won each of their last six home games.

Latest Betting Notes: Celtics

The Celtics shockingly dropped their second straight game at home to begin the series, falling 111-105 in Game 2. It was the second consecutive contest in which Boston blew a late lead, this time having a double-digit edge erased in the fourth quarter. Jayson Tatum led the team with 34 points and 13 boards while no one else managed more than 16 points for the C’s.

Despite Boston’s struggles, Tatum has continued to dominate with two straight 30-point outings to begin the series. His 32 points per game in the Eastern Conference Final rank 13 points higher than the team’s second-leading scorer, Jaylen Brown (19 points per game).

Latest Betting Notes: Heat

Miami’s Cinderella story continued in Game 2 as they pulled off yet another rally, outscoring Boston 36-22 in the fourth quarter to steal the win. The Heat were led by Jimmy Butler (27 points) once again while Caleb Martin (25 points) and Bam Adebayo (22 points, 17 rebounds) also scored 20-plus points.

While Butler has reignited his scoring touch with 31 points per game this series, he’s also had significant help from Adebayo and Martin, who are each averaging at least 20 points per game against Boston. Martin has seen his usage increase from about 27 minutes per game in the first round to 31 minutes this series, while his production (20 points per game) is virtually double that of the two previous rounds.

Celtics Player Prop: Adebayo OVER 21 Points (+138)

Butler has certainly been the star of Miami’s run so far but Adebayo’s contributions as of late shouldn’t go unnoticed. The center has averaged 21 points per game through the first two contests of this series and has scored at least 20 points in four of his last five games.

Adebayo averaged 25 points per game through four meetings against Boston during the regular season as well, scoring at least 23 points in each of the last three. All signs point to him cashing the OVER on 21 points in Game 3.

Heat Player Prop: Tatum OVER 31 Points (-109)

Game 3 feels like a do-or-die contest for the Celtics and it’s likely up to Tatum to lead them out of this hole. He’s been dynamite so far in the series and he’ll almost certainly need another 30-plus point outing to help Boston finally earn a win.

Tatum has scored at least 30 points in four of his last five games and has hit the mark in four of his last five meetings against the Heat going back to the regular season.
