Boston College (3-3) is set to return to action next Saturday, as they hit the road against Georgia Tech (3-3) in another ACC battle. According to FanDuel, the Eagles open up at +4.5, with the over under set at 57.5.

For the Eagles this is the fourth game in which they have opened as an underdog, with NIU and Holy Cross being the exception. Against the spread Boston College are 2-4, only covering against Army and Florida State. Incredibly, the Eagles are 6-0 on going over on an over/under. Georgia Tech is 3-3 against the spread, covering against Miami/Wake Forest and Louisville. They have gone over on the over/under in four of six games.

Both teams are coming off a bye week after winning exciting games the week before. Boston College won in the final minute on the fourth touchdown run of the game for quarterback Thomas Castellanos, while the Yellow Jackets won one of the most infamous games of the season against Miami. With the Hurricanes leading with just thirty seconds left, GT out of timeouts, Miami HC Mario Cristobal inexplicably decided to run the ball instead of simply kneeling it. The Canes fumbled the ball, and two plays later GT threw a long pass from Haynes King to grab the victory.

For the Eagles, they have six more games to earn at least three more victories and become bowl eligible again after missing out in 2022. Jeff Hafley and his program still have games remaining against Virginia Tech, UConn, @Syracuse, @Pitt, and against Miami. Stay tuned to Eagle Insider for more updates throughout the week.
