ACC Football Week 11: Game Previews and Spread Predictions

All 14 ACC teams are playing each other for the first time in the 2022 season. No. 10 Clemson Tigers lost their first game of the year, but they still hold a firm grip on the Atlantic. The No 15 North Carolina Tar Heels are still dominant in Coastal Division.

Virginia Tech (2-7) and Duke (6-3) are playing each other in the ACC Coastal. The Hokies are last in their division, while the Blue Devils are second in ACC. Virginia Tech blew a big fourth quarter lead last week against Georgia Tech. Duke's last victory was 38-31 at Boston College.

Virginia Tech is a 9.5-point favorite against Duke. The Hokies have covered in their last two games as double-digit underdogs.

Pitt (5-3) needs a victory to secure bowl eligibility. Virginia (3-6) lost by one possession at home to North Carolina last Saturday. The Panthers beat Syracuse last week. They are looking to break a two-game conference losing streak.

Virginia has thirty sacks on the season, which is good for third in the ACC. Pittsburgh is receiving 73% of the bets according to Action Network.

Louisville (6-3) and Clemson (8-1) are playing each other in the ACC this week. The Tigers are undefeated in ACC, but they lost to Notre Dame. Louisville has won four straight games. The Cardinals outgained James Madison 302-49 in Saturday's game.

The public is pushing for a Clemson collapse. DJ Uiagalelei is having a career year with 22 total touchdowns and well over 2,000 yards accounted for. Cunningham is playing through an injury to his non-throwing hand.

NC State (7-2) hosts Boston College (1-5 ACC) at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The Wolfpack beat Wake Forest 30-21 last week. Boston college lost 38-31 to Duke last Thursday.

Boston College is tied for the second worst record in the FBS against the spread this season at 2-7. Boston College covered as double-digit underdogs last week. The Wolfpack defense figures to feast on an offense led by a young backup in his second start.

Miami (2-3 ACC) visits Georgia Tech (3-4 ACC), which is looking for a win to improve their chances for bowl eligibility. Miami lost to Florida State 45- 3 at home last week. GeorgiaTech won last Saturday 28-27 at Hokies thanks to Zach Pyron as the backup quarterback.

Tyler Van Dyke and Jeff Sims are injured and may not play for Miami. Georgia Tech will turn to Pyron after his performance last Saturday. Miami's backups have posted nine turnovers and only two touchdowns in ten quarters of action.

#23 Florida State (6-3) at Syracuse (5-4) is a must-watch game for the ACC. The Seminoles have dominated ACC Coastal teams each of the last two weeks. Syracuse has dropped three straight games. Last week the Orange lost 19-9 away to Pittsburgh.

Syracuse and Florida State are playing in the ACC Football Game of the Week. The Seminoles have won both games by four possessions or more. Florida has the second best defense in ACC with 308.4 yards per game. Syracuse's defense is the best in conference with 300.9 yards and 18.5 points per contest.
