Daisy Pritchard, 8, from Wrexham, has suffered brain damage after a heart operation at 21-months-old. She is now walking and attending mainstream school Ysgol Maes y Llan.

Daisy suffered a stroke after surgery. She was born after several rounds of IVF. Doctors predicted Daisy would never walk or talk.

Daisy was left on life support at Liverpool’s Alder Hey Children's Hospital after an operation on her arteries. She has only three heart chambers instead of four. Daisy can now walk unaided for periods but still suffers from partial paralysis with limited feeling and movement down her right side.

Daisy used to fall off when she was afraid of Dollar. Now she's confident around him and always laughing. Daisy rides one-handed and Dollar turns for her. Daisy is very gentle with Dollar and he understands her difficulties.
