Buckeye fans to miss chance to bet on OSU game by hours
Ohio State Buckeyes will play a College Football Playoff semifinal game against Georgia Bulldogs at the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl on December 31 at 8 p.m. That's four hours before sports betting becomes legal in Ohio. PlayUp Interactive was denied a license application because of an alleged illegal activity. The commission will fine Playup. The Cleveland Cavaliers had a similar partnership with Fubo that was announced earlier this year. In October, the team said it was ending its sportsbook operations and is looking for a new online partner.
