Bucks vs Pistons Prediction

The Milwaukee Bucks travel to Little Caesars Arena to battle the Detroit Pistons on Monday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in great form as they’ve won eight of their last 11 games overall, but they will be looking to bounce back here after having their three-game win streak halted by the Nuggets in a 129-106 road loss on Saturday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 31 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals while Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and Grayson Allen each scored 13 points. As a team, the Bucks shot 44 percent from the field and nine of 36 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 38 points in the first quarter to take the early lead into halftime, before they got completely blown out by 66-40 in the second half to suffer one of their worst losses of the season.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons have been in horrid form as they’ve lost 16 of their last 17 games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a five-game slide after getting routed by the Raptors in a 118-97 road win on Friday. Jaden Ivey led the team with 20 points and eight assists, James Wiseman and Marvin Bagley each scored 14 points while RJ Hampton chipped in with 13 points off the bench. As a team, the Pistons shot 46 percent from the field and six of 25 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and leaked 72 points in the first half to trail by as many as 27 points which was always too much to overcome in the second half.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 road games, 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games against a team with a losing record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team below .400. The Pistons are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games, 0-5 ATS in their last five games following a loss of more than 10 points and 0-5 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings overall, the Bucks are 16-4-1 ATS in the last 21 meetings overall and the Bucks are 8-1-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Detroit.

The Bucks were in red-hot form before they ran into the Nuggets in a tough loss on Saturday, while the Pistons have continued to drop games on a nightly basis as they’ve lost 16 of their last 17 games overall. The Bucks will be kicking themselves after they played so poorly in the second half on Saturday, but I expect them to bounce back against this ice-cold Pistons team who just got blown out by the Raptors. The line is quite hefty here, but the Bucks should have no trouble against this Pistons team.
