Bucks vs. Spurs NBA Player Props, Odds: Giannis and Co. Look to Get Back on Track

We look at whether the Milwaukee Bucks can get back in the win column against the San Antonio Spurs following two straight losses with our Bucks vs. Spurs NBA player props based on the best NBA odds.

The Milwaukee Bucks (24-10) haven’t gotten off to the best start in 2024. The team has dropped two straight (both to the Indiana Pacers) and needs to get back on track on Thursday. The Bucks are second in the Eastern Conference but sit just half a game ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers (23-10). Milwaukee is 16-3 at home but just 8-7 on the road.

Fortunately for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co., a matchup with the last-place San Antonio Spurs offers a get-right opportunity. San Antonio is just 5-28 overall and 2-14 at home. The Bucks will play the second game of a back-to-back set, but Antetokounmpo has not rested for a back-to-back this season, and Milwaukee is 3-0 in the second game of those sets. Can the Spurs steal a rare victory, or will the Bucks snap their skid?

Here are our best [Visitor] vs. [Host] NBA player props and NBA picks (odds via ourbest NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Bucks vs. Spurs NBA player props

Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 54.5 points + rebounds + assists (+105 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Giannis is one of the most dominant forces in the NBA thanks to his incredible athleticism, scoring, rebounding, and ability to get a head of steam on the fast break. Despite this being a favorable matchup, we’re taking the Under on his PRAs prop.

The Greek Freak has provided at least 55 PRAs in two of his last three, but he’s hit the mark in only seven games overall. Over his last 10, he’s averaged 27.8 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 7.6 assists. Those monster numbers are still good for just 47.8 PRAs, and he’s eclipsed this mark just three times in those 10 outings.

The Spurs are among the NBA’s most generous teams in scoring, rebounds, and assists allowed, but the Bucks are nearly double-digit favorites on the road, and this one could turn into a blowout, limiting the superstar’s minutes.

In his only meeting with the Spurs this season, Giannis posted 11 points, 14 rebounds, and 16 assists, showcasing his versatility as a passer but falling well short of 55 PRAs as the Bucks comfortably defeated the Spurs 132-119. He’s more than capable of hitting this prop, but the odds are against him due to the lofty line and potential negative gamescript. There’s value in the plus-money odds for the Under here.

Victor Wembanyama Over 19.5 points (+108 via BetRivers) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wemby’s minutes have been reduced as of late, but he’s been phenomenal as a scorer, particularly on a per-minute basis. Over his last three, he’s averaged 23.7 points in 24.7 minutes and scored at least 20 points in each game. His points prop is set at 18.5, but we can sell a point to get plus-money odds at BetRivers, which is the only one of our featured books to offer plus-money at 19.5.

The Bucks allow the seventh most points to opponents overall and the sixth most on the road. They’ve been a top-12 defense in limiting opponents’ three-pointers, but over their last three, Milwaukee has allowed the seventh-most triples and the sixth-most points in the paint.

Wemby can score down low, but he’s also been a prolific long-range scorer this season. He averages 5.5 three-point attempts at home compared to 4.2 on the road, and he’s attempted 5.7 triples across his last three games. The rookie has averaged 19.9 points per game at home compared to 17.7 on the road. He’s got options tonight against an exploitable defense that just gave up 142 points to Indiana on Wednesday. Whether he’s feasting in the paint or stepping outside for a triple, he should have no problem reaching the 20-point milestone against Milwaukee.

Damian Lillard Over 3.5 three-pointers (-128 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

This one’s got quite a bit of juice, considering how cold Lillard has been as of late, but our featured books likely recognize the great spot Lillard is in against San Antonio tonight. Over his last four, Lillard has shot a pedestrian 8-for-32 from beyond the arc, but two of those games were against a Pacers squad that allows the fewest threes per game.

Lillard shot a combined 3-for-17 from distance in his last two (both against Indiana), but in the two games prior, he was 5-for-15. Across six games before his recent four-game slump, he knocked down 4.8 triples per contest, including seven against the Spurs. Lillard has hit at least four triples in 14 of 32 games this season, and tonight, he faces a team allowing the most three-pointers made. FanDuel offers the best odds for this prop line at 3.5, but I’m willing to throw a little money on the alternate line of 4.5 at +195 odds. This is a strong bounce-back opportunity for Dame Time.
