Celtics vs. Bucks NBA Player Props, Odds: Picks & Predictions for Thursday

We're analyzing whether Milwaukee can get back on track in a home game against Boston with our Celtics vs. Bucks NBA player props, based on the best NBA odds.

The Milwaukee Bucks were clobbered by theUtah Jazz on Monday, and after two days off, the team will look for amuch-needed win at home against the visiting Boston Celtics.

Losers of twostraight and four of their last five, the Bucks need to right the ship, but thefirst-place Celtics offer a tough challenge. Boston holds the East’s top seedwith a 29-8 record, and the surging Celtics are 8-2 over their last 10.

Overthe last five regular seasons, these teams have met 14 times, and seven ofthose games were decided by six points or less. The Bucks are 0-6 in Boston and6-2 in Milwaukee in that span, pointing to a clear advantage for the home teamin this series.

After a grueling OT win over Minnesota on Wednesday, can theCeltics stand strong and secure back-to-back victories over two of the NBA’sbest, or will Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard prove to be too much atFiserv Forum?

To accompany Shane Jackson's Suns vs. Lakers player props, here are our best Celtics vs. Bucks NBAplayer props and NBA picks (oddsvia our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a1-to-5-star scale).

Celticsvs. Bucks NBA player props

Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 52.5 points + rebounds + assists(+100 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Taking the Under with a player ofGiannis’ caliber is always dangerous, but the numbers back it up for tonight’smatchup with Boston. Milwaukee’s superstar has topped 52.5 PRAs in five of hislast 10 games overall, but he’s hit that mark in just a third of his 36 gamesthis season.

Giannis has faced Boston seven times overthe last three seasons, but he’s averaged just 42.6 PRAs and hit this mark onlyonce in that span. On the season, Giannis averages 48.1 PRAs at home, butgetting to 53 is a tough ask for any player, no matter how talented.

TheCeltics allow the third-fewest points to opponents this season, and Boston ismiddle-of-the-pack in rebounds allowed. This has been a fierce rivalry inrecent seasons, and Boston has played Giannis tough. We’ll take the Under foreven money at DraftKings.

Jaylen Brown Over 24.5 points (-120 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Brown has been red-hot of late, scoring at least 30 points in three straight games. While he’s been lighting itup over the last week, his big-time scoring isn’t a recent trend. Over his last12, Brown has averaged 26.6 points and scored at least 25 points in seven ofthose games. He’s also hit the mark in four of his last eight on the road.

The Bucks allow the seventh-most points to opponents, and Milwaukeeoffers a friendly matchup. Over the last three seasons, Brown has facedMilwaukee six times, averaging 25.2 points and scoring at least 25 points fourtimes. That includes a 26-point performance against Milwaukee when the teamsmet on Nov. 22.

Brown is averaging a four-year low in points (23.5) thisseason, but based on his recent play, this line is set too low. We’ll take theOver.

Malik Beasley Over 2.5 3-pointers (+114 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

The sharp-shooting Beasley drained fivetriples Monday against the Jazz, and he’s in a great position to stay hot frombeyond the arc tonight against a Celtics team that allows the eighth-mostthrees overall (13.8) and sixth-most on the road (14.4) this season.

Over his last seven games overall,Beasley has hit at least three triples four times and averaged 3.4 in thatspan. Beasley averages more 3-point makes on the road than at home thisseason, but he’s knocked down 29 3-pointers over his last nine home games.

Beasley takes most of his shots from longrange, as 6.2 of his 8.5 field-goal attempts have come from beyond the arc thisseason. He’s hit at least three triples in over half of his games, cashing thisprop in 18 of 35 contests. We’ll take the Over for plus money in a favorablespot.
