Bullpen decision and lackluster offense spells doom as Phillies lose World Series ~ Philadelphia Baseball Review
The Astros won Game 6 of the World Series on Saturday at Minute Maid Park, 4-1. The victory clinched their second World Championship in six seasons. Zack Wheeler was outstanding for the Phillies but was replaced by Jose Alvarado in the sixth. He was relieved after 5 1/3 innings and surrendered two runs on three hits and a walk. J.T. Realmuto thinks it was a tough decision. He thinks the manager made the right decision based on the matchups. It was the team's first postseason berth in 6 seasons and it came to within two wins of a parade down Broad Street.
