Burn City Best Bets: NLCS Game One

At 5:07 tonight the Diamondbacks and Phillies will throw the first pitch to start the NLCS In Philadelphia, let’s look at some lines. I already covered all of my DraftKings plays, today we’re moving onto Prize Picks. Prize Picks can be a little trickier, with lots of whole numbers, and no odds. If you compare the plays on the two apps, though, Prize Picks does a lot of plus money plays, with no odds.

Pitcher Plays

Zac Gallen has a strikeout line on Prize Picks set at 5.0, I’m staying away from that. Whole numbers give me bad vibes, this is strictly a vibes fade. It feels like I’m just staring at a push and it will ruin my parlay. Zach Wheeler has a strikeout line at at 6.5, and I’m fading that. I can’t see this Diamondbacks offense getting shut down with how well they’re playing.

I love the under on 0.5 first inning runs allowed play as well. With two really good pitchers on the mound it will be a very competitive game. I like the chances of a low scoring game here.

Batter Props

Corbin Carroll is another guy we love to bet on, but has a whole number on his hitter fantasy score line. Instead I’ll take Ketel Marte’s over at 6.5. Marte is hitting the ball extremely well, in the five playoff games he’s played he hasn’t gone under that mark. Christian Walker also has a fantasy score line set at 6.5 and I’ll take his under. Walker has gone over in four of his last five, but he is a little streaky.

I’m huge on Evan Longoria heading into this series. He has a hits+runs+RBIs combo bet set at just 0.5. I’ll take that, with his veteran presence and experience, he’s going to find a way to help this team win.

Alek Thomas isn’t necessarily hitting the ball well so far in the playoffs with a .211 batting average. With that being said, the guys a spark plug. Thomas will find a way to get on base tonight, something to fire this team up and grab a win. Give me the over 0.5 total bases for the young king Alek Thomas.
