Burn City Best Bets: NLCS Game Six

The Arizona Diamondbacks have their backs against the wall heading into Philly tonight, here is our best bets for game six. Arizona faced a tough loss in game five at Chase Field and dropped both of their games in Philly. The Diamondbacks will have Merrill Kelly on the hill tonight to start the game. 

Game Lines

Merrill Kelly and the Diamondbacks, like they have been all series, are the underdog going into game six. Arizona has a money line set at +154. I would stay far away from that. The Diamondbacks struggled heavily to hit the baseball in Philly in the first two games. In game two in Philly Aaron Nola, who is on the hill for the Phillies, shut the Diamondbacks out. Philadelphia is a tough place to win, especially in the playoffs. The run total is set at 8, which I like a little bit better. This series has gone over the 8 run total in three of five games to this point, and in both games in Philly. 

 Pitcher Props

Diamondbacks starter Merrill Kelly made the mistake of nudging Philly’s fans before his last start, then proceeded to give up four earned runs. However, Kelly does have a strikeout line set at 5.5 and is +115 to go over that mark tonight. Kelly punched out six hitters in five and two thirds in game two in Philly. I also like Kelly over 14.5 outs recorded. This game should be highly competitive, and I can’t see Kelly getting chased too early. 

Hitter Props

Geraldo Perdomo is a Diamondbacks who is hitting the ball well this series. Perdomo has a total bases line set at just 0.5, which I love the over on. The Diamondbacks shortstop had two hits in game five off of Wheeler and has swung it well. Ketel Marte has a hits + runs + RBIs line set at 1.5 which I love. Marte is on the brink of making history, and that’s a bet you ride until the wheels fall off.
