Offensively this game will feature teams at the extreme ends of the scoring spectrum.

Oregon enters the game as the top-scoring offense in the nation, putting up an astounding 46.3 points per game and 540 yards per game. Heisman Trophy candidate Bo Nix continues to lead the Ducks’ charge, leading the nation in completion percentage at 77.7% and ranking in the top five in both passing yards and touchdowns.

The Ducks are coming off a 36-27 win against USC in which Nix threw for 412 yards and four touchdowns against 2022 Heisman winner Caleb Williams.

Over on the other sideline this weekend is an Arizona State squad that is 125th in the FBS averaging just 17.7 points per game. The Sun Devils have had a bit of a rotation at quarterback this season, but they’ve mostly been led by Trenton Bourguet, who just last week led Arizona State to a win over UCLA.

Arizona State’s defense held the Bruins to just seven points, while the offense did just enough to come away with the win.

Though the overall offensive numbers leave a lot to be desired, Bourguet has led the Sun Devils to two wins in the last three games and has twice thrown for over 300 yards. He’ll have to reach those heights again this weekend if Arizona State wants to keep up with the high-powered Oregon attack.

Caesars lists Oregon as a 23.5-point favorite and -2500 on the moneyline. The Over/Under is 55 points.
