Can Justin Fields save tonight's TNF game? Plus, other best bets for Thursday

Tonight's NFL game is a primetime one between the Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders. The Bears usually lose in a blowout fashion. Last week's Thursday night game between Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts was a repeat of that one. There's no baseball tonight, but there are three football games to bet on.

Commanders at Bears, 8:15 p.m. (Amazon). Chicago Bears are the favorite. Washington is 9-17 on the road since 2019. Chicago's offense looked better last week. David Montgomery played well last time. Commanders have been good against the run. Chicago is playing in a primetime spotlight game. The Bears will rely more on their run game on a short week than Commander's.

Baylor and West Virginia play tonight at 7 p.m. Baylor has never won a game in Morgantown. Temple is playing against UCF at ESPN at around 7:30 p., and the Knights are the favorite. The Knights should win the first half 14-14. The Temple defense is ranked well, but the offense ranks outside the top 120. UCf is the most dangerous offense the Owls have seen. They should blow the feathers off the defense in the opening half.
