Hollywoodbets has sponsored Cape Racing with a R15 million stakes sponsorship for the coming season. Stakes will increase from R55 million for 12 months ended 31 July 2022 to R75 million. There will be a 35% increase for lower-level handicaps and Maiden Plates. No race will cost less than R100,000 during the Summer Season.

Cape Racing announces major stakes increase for upcoming season. Prize money levels in the Cape have not been of the required standard for some time. The stakes for the Classified Stakes have been raised from R55,000 to the new levels of R80, 000 Out of Season and up to R100,00 in Summer Season. Stake money for juvenile racing has been increased from R70, to  R110, and from from $100 to $120, with R135,500 available at Summer Festival meetings.
