When the Chevron Championship moves to The Club at Carlton Woods in Texas, will Jennifer Kupcho be able to repeat her victory or will a new winner take the title? Read on for our top Chevron Championship picks and predictions.

Please throw away all of your past statistics for the Chevron Championship, as the tournament has moved to The Club at Carlton Woods after being played at Mission Hills Country Club since 1972.

This year's winner won't be diving into Poppie's Pond, but will a new champion emerge, or will a familiar face, such as Lydia Ko or Lexi Thompson, capture their second Chevron Championship?

Below, we offer up our top Chevron Championship picks and predictions, along with the best LPGA Tour odds, a course preview, and all the key stats to know.

Chevron Championship picks and predictions

Jin Young Ko (+1200 via BetMGM)

It's no secret that I'm the president of Jin Young Ko's fan club, and it's partly because she's delivered me so many green check marks on previous bets. Sadly, this wasn't the case last season, as Ko struggled with injuries and wasn't the dominant player we had come to expect, missing multiple cuts near the end of the year.

Guess what, Ko looks healthy in 2023 and she is back! In four tournaments played so far this season, Ko has won the HSBC Women's World Championship and finished in the top six in two other tournaments. Additionally, Ko leads the LPGA in total strokes gained tee-to-green, which will benefit her on this tree-lined course.

At the top of the odds board, Nelly Korda and Jin Young Ko are the rightful favorites. However, I would advise fading Lydia Ko at that +1100 price point. As BetMGM offers a +1200 for Jin Young, while no sportsbooks will go higher than +1100 for Korda, I'm rolling with Jin Young this week at the Chevron Championship.

Atthaya Thitikul (+1600 via BetMGM)

In her rookie season, Atthaya Thitikul reached No. 1 in the Rolex Rankings for a short period of time. The disadvantage that Thitikul faced last season was the fact that she was seeing the golf course for the first time, whereas everyone else had a great deal of experience on the course. The Chevron Championship will leave Mission Hills Country Club this week, so this disadvantage can be erased because everyone will be playing at The Club at Carlton Woods for the first time.

With three consecutive top 10 finishes at her last three major championships, Thitikul is a primetime player and is poised to become one of the most decorated golfers in LPGA history. In her rookie season, Thitikul finished third on the LPGA in strokes gained, and that's where she ranks once again in 2023.

If BetMGM is going to give me a price point two dollars higher than all of the other sports betting sites at +1600 on Thitikul, I'm going to hit the button. The majority of sportsbooks are trading the Thai golfer at +1400.

Top 10 finish: Brooke Henderson (+360 via FanDuel)

In all honesty, I could mention how the two-time major champion ranks 13th in strokes gained from tee-to-green on the LPGA, or how she already has a victory under her belt this season at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, but honestly that's of no relevance to how I landed on this bet.

What's my rationale for placing a wager on Henderson to finish inside the top 10 at +360 through FanDuel? Of all the other sportsbooks listed above, such as PointsBet, Caesars, BetMGM, and DraftKings, not one has Henderson listed at longer odds than +300 to finish in the top 10. Each of them is either +280 or shorter.

Even though price shopping is essential in any form of sports betting, the differences between trading teams in professional leagues such as the LPGA are even more pronounced. Go shopping to find the differences and maximize your edge. This isn't the NFL or NBA where odds are carefully monitored.
