SAN FRANCISCO — This is a preview of the three-game series between the Guardians and Giants.

Where: Angels Stadium, Thursday through Sunday.

TV/radio: Bally Sports Great Lakes, WTAM 1100 AM and the Guardians Radio Network will carry the series. Monday and Tuesday’s games will also air on WMMS 100.7 FM.

Pitching matchups and start times: RHP Gavin Williams (2-5, 3.34) vs. RHP Alex Cobb (7-6, 3.74) on Monday at 9:45 p.m.; RHP Cal Quantrill (2-6, 5.70) vs. TBD on Tuesday at 9:45 p.m.; LHP Logan Allen (7-7, 3.68) vs. TBD on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.

Series: The Guardians faced San Francisco to open the home portion of their schedule at Progressive Field last year, losing three straight. The Giants lead the all-time series with 15 wins to Cleveland’s 5.

Giants update: Thairo Estrada became the first Giants player to have 20 stolen bases in consecutive seasons since Omar Vizquel in 2005-06. Mike Yastrzemski on Saturday became the first Giants leadoff hitter to log four hits in a game since Donovan Solano in 2019 at Oakland. Wilmer Flores reached 500 career RBI on Friday and also hit his career-high 22nd home run. In 11 career games against Cleveland, Brandon Crawforrd is hitting .256 with a home run and five RBI.

Guardians update: Entering play Sunday, Bo Naylor was hitting .366 (15-for-41) with five doubles, four home runs, 10 RBI and a 1.240 OPS in games since Aug. 19. During that stretch, he collected an extra-base hit in 8 of the 11 games he started. Since the trade deadline on Aug. 1, the Guardians have turned 33 double plays in 36 games, tied for third most in the AL. In six career games against the Giants, Jose Ramirez is batting .318 with a .769 OPS and three RBI.

Giants: OF Austin Slater day to day with dizziness. RHP Alex Cobb (left hip impingement) pushed back. OF Michael Conforto (left hamstring strain), RHP Ross Stripling (mid-back strain), C Patrick Bailey (concussion), IF Mark Mathias (right shoulder strain), RHP Anthony DeSclafani (right elbow flexor strain), RHP Cole Waites (right elbow sprain), LHP Thomas Szapucki (thoracic outlet syndrome surgery), C Roberto Pérez (right rotator cuff strain).

Guardians: RHP Shane Bieber (right elbow), RHP Triston McKenzie (right elbow) and RHP Michael Kelly (back) are on the injured list.
